Do you want the chance to gain work experience and develop your skills in an entrepreneurial way via networking with amazing global partners such as Amazon, HSBC, Visa, Asda and so many others, whilst helping people in the local community? If you answered yes, then Enactus Manchester is perfect for you! Enactus stands for 'Entrepreneurial Action Through Us.' It is a global student-led organisation which develops and implements social enterprise projects with the aim of giving students a chance to use their degree skills as well as their business acumen to help empower others.

Our Projects

Blossom

We empower refugee women in Britain through making and selling artistic products. Our workshops provide the materials and guidance to support their creational process. Blossom seeks to help these women develop transferable skills, nurture a window for catharsis, and smoother societal integration.

Rekindle

Rekindle is a new project that ensures sustainable communities that value clean and affordable energy. We aim to reduce the amount of waste that reach landfills/oceans. A small shop will be opened that will focus on resale of retrofitted items. The profits made will be invested in off-grid electrification of rural areas in either Asia/Africa.

EmpowerMEal

Empowermeal was born out of the need to reduce inequalities and empower women (hence our name) with life-long connections and education by teaming up with them to tackle responsible food choices and consumption, especially in the Manchester student community.

Next Step

The aim of Next Step is to reintegrate young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness back into society by providing them with the skills necessary to secure long-term employment.

Speak Up

Speak up aims to empower migrant parents through weekly English language lessons that are fun and interactive, thus providing them with the skills they need to integrate happily into our society.
